Maya K Templer is an animator and illustrator, currently living between Wellington (NZ) and Brisbane (AUS).
She has a strong imagination and a knack for distilling a broad range of influences into her distinctive style.
A project that saw success in 2023 was her political card game - Meet The Candidates, highlighting her visual communication skills, mixed with an astute research-based practice. This was assisted by a grant from the Blackbird Foundation’s ProtoStars fund.
In her spare time, Maya enjoys; cycling, swimming and gardening.
